Ethan Hawke will be in Romania in June to support early education for all and premiere his latest film, Before Midnight. Join us “Before It’s Too Late” on June 27. Ethan and director Rick Linklater will attend the premiere and have a “Talk Back” Q&A with the audience following the film.

OvR executive director Maria Gheorghiu met with 10 County Councils about providing incentives to all families below the poverty line who send their children to gradinita. Six counties are seriously considering including the food coupon program in their budgets: Sibiu, Covasna, Brasov, Cluj, Bacau, and Vaslui. Apparently they agree with President Obama about the importance of early education, especially for disadvantaged children.
